HOW TO PLAY – BET TYPES
The action on offer from Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is rich and varied. Lovers of the game will fall for the big money prizes and fast playing style. Expect a rush of excitement at every decision point as you decide to hold on hard or ride your draw all the way to the river.
Decision Points
The player gets to make the following action during a standard round of this game:
- Ante bet and side bets– the player must make an ante bet to start the game. At this point they also get the option to make a bonus side bet and a progressive side bet. Once the money is laid down the round can start and 2 hole cards are dealt.
- Fold or play– the player can now decide whether to play or fold. If the player elects to play, then they must pay double the ante bet to continue. When the bet is made the flop is immediately dealt, revealing the community cards accessible to both players.
- Check or bet (turn bet)– based on the flop, the player then has the choice of whether to make another ante bet before the turn card is delivered, making it four community cards in view. If the player does not bet, this is regarded as a check and the card is still revealed.
- Check or bet (river bet)– based on the turn card, the player has the choice of making a final ante bet or checking before the river card is revealed. Hands are then evaluated with the following outcomes:
- Player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand- the player wins even money on all the flop, turn and river bets and even money on the ante for all straights or better. Side bets are paid accordingly.
- Hands are drawn– the bets all push, but side bets are still paid out accordingly.
- Dealer’s hand beats the player’s hand– the player loses all bets; however, side bets are still paid out accordingly.
