EuroMillions is Europe’s biggest and most popular lottery draw. It takes place every Tuesday and Friday night in Paris.
How does playing EuroMillions at Lottoland work?
Playing with Lottoland, you pick your numbers in the same way and you can win all the same main game prizes, including the jackpot, as you could had you entered the official draw.
How do I play?
Choose 5 numbers from the main pool of 1–50 and 2 further numbers from 1–12.
You can also select the QuickPick option (Quick+1) and this will automatically choose a line for you. Once you have chosen your numbers, select which draw you want to play, either Tuesday or Friday, and press Submit. This will take you through to a checkout – at this stage just click Confirm and proceed to play.
How do I win the Jackpot?
You will win our jackpot if your 5 main numbers and 2 additional numbers are the same as those in the official EuroMillions draw.
You can win all the same main game prizes playing with us, as you would in the official draw, including the jackpot.
How much does it cost?
A single line costs US$3.50. A line with the DoubleJackpot feature costs US$7.00. For more on DoubleJackpot please see below.
How much can I win?
From 1st February 2020, the “cap”, or maximum EuroMillions jackpot, is set to rise.
Initially, the ceiling jackpot will increase to €200 million (US$ equivalent). Every time this jackpot is reached, five more draws will take place, then the jackpot will reset to €17 million (US$ equivalent) and the “cap” will increase by a further €10 million (US$ equivalent).
This will happen until the maximum jackpot climbs all the way up to €250 million (US$ equivalent).
Remember, you can also select our DoubleJackpot feature for the chance to win twice the official EuroMillions jackpot amount. See below for information on how this feature works.
How does the DoubleJackpot feature work?
The DoubleJackpot feature allows you to go for twice the official lottery jackpot. So, for instance, if the official EuroMillions draw is €80 million and you play with us and activate the DoubleJackpot feature, your potential prize will be €160 million (US$ equivalent). The prizes for all other tiers will remain the same.
It costs double the price of your normal line to activate the feature. So, if you wish to play EuroMillions with the DoubleJackpot feature you’ll pay US$7.00, instead of US$3.50.
When does the draw take place?
The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday night in Paris at approximately 19:30 CET.

Is the payout guaranteed? How do I know?
At Lottoland we can guarantee you will be paid out on your winnings - regardless of the jackpot amount. At Lottoland you bet on the outcome of the official draw. For all intents and purposes you will have the exact same customer experience as if you were playing the official lottery. The key difference is that we take your bet and we pay you if you win. We are able to achieve this in two ways.
For smaller prize tier payments we make the payment directly from the fund we have from the total ticket sales.
In order for us to make the larger prize tier payments we take out insurance policies to cover the eventuality of a Jackpot win or a substantial payout on the Lotto ticket. Part of the Lotto ticket price you pay goes towards the payment of this policy.
We are registered with and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, and the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland. In order for us to retain these licences we have to prove that we are able to make the required payouts to our players should they win and that we have the correct procedures in place to guarantee this.
What is a Subscription?
Subscriptions remove the hassle of buying repeat lines and the fear of missing out on that big jackpot win. Our Subscription feature allows you to set up a running ticket or tickets on a given lottery draw. The subscription is open ended and will run for as long as you want it too. You can opt out at any time.
Why should I play EuroMillions at Lottoland?
The EuroMillions is Europe's most popular draw and you can play with us and win all the same main game prizes with us. In addition to this, you can take advantage of a range of exclusive features such as DoubleJackpot, Subscriptions and JackpotHunt that you won't find anywhere else. If you're a new customer, we'll also give you your first line free.
What is the difference between the EuroMillions and EuroJackpot lotteries?
From a gameplay perspective, EuroMillions and EuroJackpot are similar; both lotteries require you to pick 5 numbers from 50, and 2 supplementary numbers. The supplementary numbers are where the difference becomes clear as you must pick 2 supplementary (Star) numbers from 8 for the EuroJackpot and for the EuroMillions you must pick 2 supplementary numbers from 12.
The EuroJackpot organisers guarantee a weekly minimum jackpot of €10 million, with a maximum jackpot of €90 million (US$ equivalent). The EuroMillions is much larger in comparison, with a minimum of €17 million available at each of the two weekly draws (i.e. €30 million weekly), with a maximum jackpot size of a whopping €200 million (US$ equivalent)!
The winning numbers for the EuroJackpot are drawn every Friday in Helsinki (Finland), while the EuroMillions has two weekly draws on Tuesdays and Fridays in Paris (France).
A great tip for EuroMillions fans - whenever there's a Friday draw coming up with a low jackpot check out our EuroJackpot page, as it may well have a bigger jackpot, and at great odds too!
Does the EuroMillions have system combinations?
Yes, it is possible to select number combinations for the EuroMillions. If you select more than the minimum required numbers (5 main + 2 Stars), then a system selection is made using all the possible combinations possible from your numbers. The more numbers and stars you select, the more EuroMillions number combinations can be made from them.
