When do we require further documentation?

As a licensed and regulated company, Lottoland must abide by the Law and perform security and verification checks to protect our customers, as do all other operators.

This is why, at times when certain limits and thresholds are reached on a customer's account, we are required to request further documentation.

Below is a list of documents we may need to ask you to submit when your spending or withdrawals reach certain levels. All document copies should be clearly readable with all four corners visible.

Kindly note that we do not accept documents in the form of screenshots for the purposes of verifying your Lottoland Account, unless a screenshot has been specifically requested by our verification department.

Driving licence

Your driving licence must show your full name, your date of birth, your home address and your country. Your licence should be fully valid and in date, with the expiry date clearly visible. Provisional driving licences are perfectly acceptable.

Passport

Your passport must show your full name, your date of birth and your country. Your passport should be fully valid, signed and in date, with the expiry date clearly visible.

Utility bill

You may verify your address with a utility bill, such as a gas, electricity, water or landline telephone bill. The bill may not be more than 3 months old and should clearly show your name and home address..

Kindly note that mobile phone bills are not accepted for the completion of this verification step.

Debit / credit card

We will need to see the front and back of the debit/credit card that you have used for your Lottoland account.

For security reasons, please blank out the middle 8 digits of the card number, leaving the first 4 and last 4 digits visible. Please also make sure to sign your card and blank out the CVV code. See example below:

Bank statement

Your bank statement should correspond with the bank account into which you would like to make your withdrawal/from which you would like to make a Lottoland deposit.

The date of issue (the statement must not be more than 3 months old), your full name, your home address and your account number should all be clearly visible.

Lottoland also accepts online banking statements, provided that they have been downloaded from your online banking account in a PDF format.

For significant payouts of more than £10million, we will require documents to be notarised prior to the payout being made.

MuchBetter proof of ownership

To complete this verification step, please send us a bank statement showing proof of your MuchBetter transactions made to Lottoland.

Neteller proof of ownership

Please send us a screenshot of your Neteller account showing your name and email address registered with Lottoland.

Skrill proof of ownership

Please send us a screenshot of your Skrill account showing your player details registered with Lottoland.

Affordability

We take player protection very seriously. Gambling should be fun, and you should never gamble more than you can afford.

For this reason, we may need to check that your levels of spending with us are within your means. We may ask you to explain how you fund your gambling with us and may request an affordability check. You may be asked to provide evidence of earning or other documents verifying a reliable source of income or wealth.

Routine checks

From time to time, we like to check that all the documents we have on file for you are still valid and up-to-date and we may request your most recent documents.

For security reasons, you will need to send any verification documents from the email address registered to your Lottoland account.
